Gilhean is Head of Growth, Marketing and Communications at BCW Brussels. Gilhean leads BCW’s European Elections Taskforce, which helps organizations understand, navigate and influence one of the most important years of political change in Europe this decade.
Prior to joining BCW, Gilhean was Head of Business Development for a political risk advisory firm, providing strategic counsel to the investment and corporate affairs industry on political shifts impacting business-related risks at European level. Gilhean has also held commercial and strategy roles at POLITICO, the leading media publication covering the intersection of politics, policy and power. Prior to this, Gilhean worked for the UK Government’s Permanent Representation to the EU, where she held roles on both the political and trade teams, advancing priority policy and political objectives at EU level.
