BCW Launches New Federal Government Solutions Offering to Serve Government AgenciesFebruary 11, 2021

NEW YORK, February 11, 2021 – BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe), a leading global communications agency, today introduced its Federal Government Solutions offering, a discrete, branded unit within the agency’s Public Affairs and Crisis Practice that focuses on executing strategic communications, branding, marketing and digital campaigns on behalf of public sector clients. This offering formalizes BCW’s decades of experience in working with various agencies across the federal government.

“BCW has a long history of developing best-in-class communications campaigns for corporate clients that move people, especially in hard-to-reach and underserved populations,” said Chris Foster, President, North America, BCW. “Reaching and moving people through complex communications is fraught with challenges for any organization, even more so in the case of the public sector/government agencies. The bodies need the partnership and expertise of BCW to help them navigate the communications landscape and ensure that the right messages are meeting the right people, at the right time, and in precisely the right way.”

BCW’s Federal Government Solutions offering includes:

  • Hyper-local capabilities via a geographic footprint inclusive of teams in every media market and congressional district in the country;
  • A polycultural approach to reach diverse stakeholder audiences through nuanced, hyper-resonant campaigns that are culturally relevant and promote inclusion and diversity; and
  • An award-winning creative team experienced in supporting many of the world’s most iconic brands and in developing large-scale national campaigns for the public sector.

The BCW Federal Government Solutions offering will leverage these differentiators to help government agencies communicate more clearly and consistently with employees and stakeholders on many sensitive issues and topics through the U.S. and abroad.

“As the new administration ramps up, many agencies will need to develop and launch compelling strategic communications campaigns to disseminate President Biden’s priorities, policies and objectives to the American public,” said Dan Doherty, Executive Vice President, North America Public Affairs and Crisis Practice Lead, BCW. “BCW will continue serving as a strategic communications partner to government agencies to meet that need and is committed to expanding its position in 2021 and beyond.”

BCW’s Federal Government Solutions unit currently serves on multiple contracts for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Commerce, Department of Defense, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
