NEW YORK, March 23, 2020 – BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe), a leading global communications agency, today announced that Brianne Nurick, Executive Vice President, Managing Director, New York Public Affairs & Crisis Lead, has been named to City & State’s “2020 Above and Beyond List” which honors women in the public sector who have made notable contributions to society.

Nurick began her career as an appointee in the Administration of President George W. Bush at the U.S. Department of Energy serving Secretaries Spencer Abraham and Samuel W. Bodman in a variety of capacities, ultimately advancing to the role of senior adviser for communications. In 2008 she left the executive branch for a job in the Public Affairs & Crisis practice at BCW (then Burson-Marsteller). She works with clients in a wide range of industries, including energy, chemicals, entertainment, education and health care.
