NEW YORK, November 17, 2021 – Direct Impact (DI), the nation’s leading grassroots firm and member of the BCW Group of companies, announced that Keith Strubhar has joined the firm as Executive Vice President. He will be responsible for building DI’s offerings, growing its client base and overseeing select major accounts.

DI’s in-market experts use firsthand market insights and knowledge of local and regional trends to produce creative campaigns that reach, captivate and activate a community, including consumers, policymakers, constituents and key stakeholders alike.

“Keith is a great fit to help grow DI thanks to his years applying his integrated communications expertise to develop and manage winning electoral campaigns and lead international marketing, public relations and grassroots efforts to enhance reputations of Fortune 50 companies” said Drew O’Brien, President, Direct Impact. “He is a proven leader in building business and managing strong teams that deliver powerful results, and I look forward to the impact he will make on our business.”

Before joining DI, Strubhar was the Managing Partner at Tarpon Strategic where he led social influence campaigns for various companies in the aerospace and industrial sectors. Prior to that, he served as an EVP with MSL, leading its Washington, D.C. market and its public affairs team. While with MSL, he also served as strategic counselor to United Technologies Corporation, USAA, KLM and Emirates Airlines.

He started his career in campaign politics in Florida where he managed multiple county constitutional, state house and U.S. Congressional races.

“To succeed in today’s communications landscape, you must connect with audiences individually, where they live and work, on the issues that matter most to them,” said Strubhar. “DI’s expansive boots-on-the-ground network is exactly the kind of team that clients need to help achieve their objectives at a hyper-local level. I’m thrilled to rejoin DI and look forward to helping it grow.”
