NEW YORK, January 21, 2021 – BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe), a leading global communications agency, announced today that Kristena Lucky has joined BCW as Executive Vice President, Brand Solutions Practice Lead, North America, responsible for leading and growing the practice across the region. She is based in Dallas and started in her role on January 20.

“Kristena has spent her entire career developing integrated, cross-functional programs for clients that ignite growth by moving people from awareness to action, setting the stage for sales growth and long-term loyalty,” said Chris Foster, President, North America, BCW, to whom Lucky will report. “She is also a passionate people manager, committed to reaching back and building up the next generation of communications professionals. I am delighted she is joining the BCW team and am excited for what she and our colleagues across BCW’s brand solutions practice will achieve.”

Lucky offers expansive experience in the brand marketing space, having led clients in the automotive, baby care, cookware, consumer packaged goods, digital commerce, food and beverage, health and wellness, smart home technologies, sports protection and performance, and theme park industries.

Lucky joins BCW from Edelman, where she spent the last nine years in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, she was Executive Vice President, Brand Strategist, for the U.S. Brand Practice. In that role, she was a senior counselor to a variety of clients, identifying opportunities and developing sophisticated, integrated solutions for complex business challenges. She also served as a strategic brand marketing adviser to the C-suite of a leading global entertainment technology client and led a 20 person, cross-functional team that drove global campaign planning and creative for a new product launch.

Previously, she was Executive Vice President, Head of Brand for Edelman’s Southwest Region. She led operations and delivered double-digit growth on multimillion-dollar revenue in six months. In addition to leading the region, she spearheaded new business efforts and played a primary role in scaling Edelman’s presence in Texas and right-sizing revenue in the Dallas office. Before that, as Senior Vice President, Brand, she transformed a stagnant account into one that delivered 300 percent year-over-year revenue growth.

Earlier in her career, Lucky was with leading multicultural marketing agency Chicago-based Burrell Communications, and before that she was a marketing manager with Accenture. Her career-long enthusiasm for integrated communications began in her role as a brand manager with Motorola Mobility.
