Office Depot, Inc. Expands Marketing Agency of Record Duties With WPPOctober 17, 2018

BOCA RATON, Fla., October 16, 2018 -- Office Depot, Inc. (NASDAQ:ODP) announced today that it has expanded its partnership with WPP (NYSE: WPP) to include BCW Group as the brand’s public relations agency of record. BCW Group selected best-in-class talent from its roster of brands to form the Office Depot team.

This announcement follows Office Depot’s March 2018 appointment of WPP’s Office Depot Partnership, led by VMLY&R, as the brand’s new marketing partner. Other WPP companies working for the brand include MediaCom and Landor. The Office Depot partnership brings together best-in-class marketing and communications expertise from across WPP, including brand platform development, creative campaign work, brand identity, e-commerce solutions, digital activation and media buying. BCW Group will now lead public relations.
