LONDON, 30th January, 2023, BCW, a leading global communications agency, today announced the appointment of Emily Lord as a Senior Director on its London Healthcare Team.
Lord joins BCW from Sanofi, where she held a number of communications and commercial roles, including Head of Communications, Sanofi Vaccines for UK & Ireland and more recently, Head of its UK & Ireland RSV Franchise.
Prior to joining Sanofi, Lord spent over four years in Edelman's healthcare business where she worked with pharmaceutical companies, NGOs and patient advocacy groups at global and regional levels. During her career, she spearheaded patient-centric media relations efforts around key issues including Brexit, public health, and the value of vaccination. She also worked as part of a global brand team to create digital campaigns to drive change globally amongst key audiences. Lord was also responsible for leading issues and crisis management activities for COVID-19 and led an integrated team to prepare the market for the introduction of a new monoclonal antibody.
